The Agfa Isolette is a series of compact folding medium-format cameras produced by Agfa Kamerawerk in Munich, Germany, between 1937 and 1960. These cameras were designed for 120 roll film, capturing 6×6 cm or 4.5×6 cm images.
The Isolette series includes several models, such as:
- Isolette I, II, and III – featuring different lens and shutter combinations.
- Isolette V – a budget-friendly version with a simple shutter.
- Isolette L – one of the later models.
- Super Isolette – a coupled-rangefinder version introduced in 1954.
These cameras are known for their folding bellows design, making them compact and portable—some even say they fit in a pocket! However, over time, the bellows can become fragile, leading to light leaks.
